Is microchipping a gimmick?
No, almost all veterinarians, animal shelters, AAHA and the AKC recommend microchipping. Over 10 million pets are lost each year with 50% of dogs and 75% of cats arriving at animal shelters without collars. Microchips are injected just under your pet’s skin, the procedure is quick, safe, and painless. The microchip is about the size of a grain of rice and lasts a lifetime.
